Dr. Mithila Somasundaram is a primary care physician with a commitment to illness prevention, disease management, and patient advocacy.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Western University in the Bachelor of Medical Sciences Program, graduating in three years with a Gold Medal for having the highest academic standing in her graduating class. She then undertook her medical education at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto at Women’s College Hospital.
Presently, Dr. Somasundaram splits her time between her community practice at CedarCare Medical Centre and at Women’s College Hospital, where she is involved in both clinical duties and the teaching of University of Toronto medical students and residents.
She provides services in English, Tamil, and French.

Dr. Akinsemolu is a compassionate and experienced family physician from the United Kingdom. He has a special interest in chronic disease management and musculoskeletal medicine.
Following his medical education (MBBS) in Nigeria in 2007, he pursued a Master’s degree in Public Health in Scotland.
Driven by his passion for clinical medicine, he completed a Family Medicine residency in Scotland and was awarded the Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in 2017. He also holds a certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
During his training in the United Kingdom, Dr. Akinsemolu has had the privilege of working across various specialties, including geriatric medicine, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopaedics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and palliative care.
He is deeply committed to enhancing patient outcomes and the well-being of their families by fostering collaborative partnerships.

Dr. Adnan Musarraf is a dedicated Family Physician committed to providing holistic patient care with a forward-thinking approach to medicine. With extensive experience across diverse healthcare settings in both Canada and the UK, Dr. Adnan brings comprehensive expertise to our clinic.
Currently working 7 days in our Toronto clinic. Dr. Adnan previously worked as a General Practitioner in the UK, including positions at prestigious institutions such as Alder Hay Children’s Hospital and Royal Liverpool Hospital. His experience at Beech Hill Medical Practice included conducting minor surgeries, joint injections, and private medical assessments.
Dr. Adnan holds impressive credentials including Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP), Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP), and a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. His surgical background includes Membership of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (MRCS).
With specialized training in joint injections, minor surgery, and dermatoscopy, Dr. Adnan offers a range of procedural skills. His expertise in sports medicine provides valuable insights for patients with musculoskeletal concerns and athletic injuries.
Dr. Adnan maintains an active role in medical education, serving as an OSCE Examiner for the University of Liverpool and Clinical Placement Supervisor for medical students. His commitment to evidence-based practice is demonstrated through multiple quality improvement projects and his published research on ultrasound-guided manipulation of distal radius fractures.
Dr. Adnan is fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu, allowing him to provide culturally sensitive care to our diverse patient community.
